Best taken around one week before the start of your period to help promote a smoother and easier period. During your period, you should be laying low and taking it easy; usually no herbs (unless directed by your herbalist or acupuncturist), or extreme foods like nothing too spicy or cold, nothing overly sour or sweet. 3 days after your period, we recommend eating blood nourishing foods to replenish blood stores for your next cycle. Things like: cooked lotus root, Huang Qi and red date tea, Dang Gui, etc. You can continue using your Superwoman tonic after your period is well over.
