Description

Every Superwoman needs her spleen, heart, and liver tended to, especially following her menses. This culinary tonic bag uses Angelica Sinensis (

Dang Gui, a famous root herb used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for its gynecological benefits, particularly for menstrual irregularities. As a “uterine tonic,” it enriches, nourishes, increases, and improves the quality of blood. We paired this herb with Rose 玫瑰, Astragalus 黄芪Jujube date 红枣, Longan fruit 桂圆, and Goji berry 枸杞, to create a delicious blend that will bring back that shine and color to her complexion.

Best taken around one week before the start of your period to help promote a smoother and easier period. During your period, you should be laying low and taking it easy; usually no herbs (unless directed by your herbalist or acupuncturist), or extreme foods like nothing too spicy or cold, nothing overly sour or sweet. 3 days after your period, we recommend eating blood nourishing foods to replenish blood stores for your next cycle. Things like: cooked lotus root, Huang Qi and red date tea, Dang Gui, etc. You can continue using your Superwoman tonic after your period is well over.

*Caution with diarrhea or pregnant women, 1 bag maximum, daily.
** Not for nursing mothers. Dang Gui is too invigorating for the baby.
