½ cup of pearl barley 薏仁
½ cup of mung bean 绿豆
A handful of fresh lily bulb (or dried) 新鲜百合
Dampness Reducing Culinary TCM Tonic Bag | 祛湿药膳包
Sweetener, as desired
Rinse all ingredients separately with cold water.
Soak in filtered water for at least 3 hours.
Drain and rinse again.
Add Dampness Reducing Culinary TCM Tonic Bag
Cook the pearl barley, mung bean, with Dampness Reducing Culinary TCM Tonic Bag in a (preferably clay) pot with 10 cups of water, until the beans are tender.
Add lily bulb and cook together for 5-10 more minutes.
Taste, add sweetener as needed. Serve hot or cold. Enjoy!
