Golden Millet Corn Porridge with Ghee and Pine Nuts
Gluten-free | Contain diary | Vegetarian
1 Dampness Reducing Tonic Bag steeped in 2 cups of water or milk
1 tbsp Fourth and Heart Ghee
1/2 cup corn kernel
2 tbsp pine nuts
1/2 cup of foxtail millet, rinsed
Honey, to taste
Prepare tonic first by steep the tonic bag in boiling water for 10 minutes.
In a pot, melt ghee. Add corn, pine nuts, and rinsed millet. Stir for 1-2 minutes.
Add tonic water and bring everything to a boil on high heat.
Turn heat to medium-low and cook until porridge has reached a creamy, thick consistency. If your porridge is thin, just cook for longer. If your porrdige is too thick, just add more liquid.
Add sweetener of choice. Taste and serve.
