In collaboration with Elix Healing, we bring you a TCM twist on an all-American classic!
A popular drink in Asia during autumn and winter, sweet potato lattes are a delicious sweet treat packed with heaps of nutritional benefits. According to TCM, sweet potatoes are good for digestion, as they are a slow growing root-vegetable that belongs to the earth element, which benefits the stomach and spleen. When served in a warm beverage, they can also help restore balance to the Yin and Yang in the body. For this recipe, we combined sweet potato with pumpkin spice, then topped it off with Elix’s Ginger Aide for added immunity boosting benefits.
